This is where we will scan or type our pictures, words and general learning in school and outside!

Coming up on Friday, 10th October- A Cake Bake sale! This sale will be run by the very responsible members of 5th Class. We will be selling cakes, breads etc to the pupils and teachers of our school. The next time we may open to the public and the parents! Please help us by baking or buying something cake like!

Author meet and listen!

On Wednesday, Mrs. Lewis brought the lucky boys to the Carlow library to meet local author, Paudric Brennan. Paudric read to us from his new book ” The eye of the Dragon” We got to chat to him after and ask him about his favourite books and where he gets his ideas from. Thanks!

On Thursday, the girls are going to meet Judi Curtin. Judi Curtin writes fun books for girls of our age! We are really looking forward to hearing what she has to say!

Swimming

Swimming lessons for 5th Class, St. Fiacc’s NS will be finishing up on 14th October. We have learned loads at the swimming pool and our coaches are excellent! All the children have been impeccably behaved so well done to 5th Class!

Art

We are looking and responding to artists who draw in the theme of “Family” We all were asked to bring in a photograph of own family. We will begin sketching next week and eventually will unveil our masterpiece!Keep your eye out as we hope to upload some of these online!

Cake Bake Sale 5th Class

On Friday, 10th October 5th Class hosted a class Cake Bake Sale. It went brilliantly and we sold everything and probably could have sold treble the amount we had! Thanks to all the parents, children, staff that baked or bought something! We raised money for our school and this was a great feeling!
