Count Dracula

Count Dracula is a srange man. He sleeps in a coffin. When he had a visitor he tried to drink their blood. He lived in a castle on a hill. Everyone is afraid of him.

Count Dracula is a cold and black hearted person. He is bald. He has black eyes and is very skinny. Jonathon is a kind hearted person. He has blue eyes and brown hair and is kind of fat.

Dracula and his secret

Today our teacher read us a story about Dracula. He lived in Transylvania. He lived in a big house with 7 towers. A man had to bring a secret file to Dracula. When he first saw Dracula he got a bit scared because Dracula grabed his hand and held it realy tight. After that he heard wolfs howling and a bat flew over his head.

Dracula had skin as white as the moon. When they went into the dining room, Dracula smiled and two very white long teeth were in his mouth. But the man still didn’t know that Dracula was a Vampire.

The next day the man decided to explore the house. He tried to open a few doors but they were locked. He came to one door that wasn’t locked. He opend it he went down the stairs and came to a room with brown boxes on the floor. He opened on box and there was Dracula. He quickly got on a horse and went home. But Dracula got their before him.

My character description of Dracula is that he has very long white teeth and has very pale skin.

What happens if your tooth breaks in half?

We are born with “milk teeth” and at a certain age( (8 or 9) we lose these teeth and grow adult teeth. These teeth have to last us forever. A tooth cannot just break in half by itself but you might bang it or hit it off something. The bit of the tooth can be glued back on or you can get a false bit to match the bit you lost! I know a girl that this happenned to. It is very expensive so try not to let this happen!

What are braces made out of?

How do I explain this? Each tooth will have a little metal box shape glued onto the tooth. This stays on for the whole of your time with your braces. Every 6 weeks or so, the Orthodontist will change the wires. the wires go through little hooks on the metal boxes. The wires help to straighten your teeth. So, braces are made out of metal! you can choose different colour bands to go over the boxes and wires.

What are fillings made out of?

Silver (Amalgam) filling material contains about 50% mercury and 50% of various other metals.

What are false teeth?

Dentures, or false teeth, are fixed or removable replacements for teeth.

Tooth replacement becomes necessary when the tooth and its roots have been irreparably damaged, and the tooth has been lost or must be removed. Dentists have long known that a missing permanent tooth should always be replaced or else the teeth on either side of the space gradually tilt toward the gap, and the teeth in the opposite jaw begin to move toward the space.

So, the lesson is to keep your teeth healthy and clean or you might have to wear false teeth when you don’t need to!

Do braces hurt?

I can answer this one!

Braces do not hurt as they are only glued to your teeth. The wires that go around the braces that pull your teeth together can sometimes stick out into your gum or inside of your mouth. Your Orthodontist can make these feel nicer and he will give you a waxy thing to put on them to stop them digging into you.

The first time you get braces, they might feel a bit odd and they might hurt a little bit. Some people don’t feel anything. You might have to stay on a diet of icecream and mashed potato but that is fine by me!
