Teeth are very important.  You have to brush them every morning and night, if you don’t they will turn YELLOW, and rot away.  Last Friday we learned about teeth and we learned a lot.  It was really FUN.

Well you know me, not writing a lot [funny, right!] see ya next time, bye.

Nelson Mandela was born in 1918.He was the first person out of his famly to go to school. On his first day a school, his teacher gave him the name Nelson.

Nelson began to question why everyone in South Africa was not treated equally. He dreamed that one day he would be able to help in the fight to bring freedom to his poor black brothers and sisters in South Africa.

Nelson Moandela and his friend Oliver Tambo started their own law practice to help the poor black south Africans. Nelson decided to become involved in politics. In 1942, he joined a political party called the “African National Congress” (ANC). Soon Nelson was arrested and imprisoned. His party, the ANC was banned. He was in prison for 26 years and was released on 11th of febuary 1990. In febuary 1990 the ANC political party was unbanned. Nelson was awarded the nobel peace prize in 1993. Nelson Mandela retired from politics in 1999.
